Back in the autumn of 2003, a shift in programming at WHQR 91.3fm left local public radio without a blues program. Devoted listeners made their sentiments known via letter, email, and telephone calls to WHQR management, and soon I was contacted about taking on the role as host for a locally-produced blues program.
